Doug, Toby, Cooper, Bunny, Gus, and Tatonka were originally part of a large rescue Guardians orchestrated back on Christmas Eve 2013. These dogs were from the now defunct Olympic Animal Sanctuary in Forks,Washington. Guardians of Rescue placed over 120 dogs into safe havens and rescues that stepped up to the plate to lend a helping hand and give them new leashes on life! These last 7 went to sanctuary on the west coast, and were well loved and cared for but sadly, the owner of the property was forced to move and now these 7 are once again in need of safe havens, rescues and above all…forever homes.
The move to the west coast including transportation, kennels, veterinary care and emergency boarding cost the Guardians of Rescue over $25,000. That’s a lot of money for 7 dogs, but we are determined to take this case to the end. Now the dogs are in the wonderful care of our shelter partner Save-A-Pet Animal Rescue.
